Billing

Manage your Reading Steps subscription, view invoices, and update payment methods.
Billing is only accessible to users with the Owner role.

Accessing billing

  1. Log in to the admin panel as an Owner
  2. Go to Billing in the sidebar

Subscription plans

Reading Steps offers flexible plans based on your school’s needs:

Personalization add-on

The Personalization add-on includes:
  • Custom school logo
  • Theme color customization
  • Brand name display
  • Login page theming

Managing your subscription

Viewing current plan

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Your current plan and status are displayed at the top
  3. See your next billing date and amount

Upgrading your plan

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click Upgrade Plan
  3. Select your new plan
  4. Confirm the change
  5. You’ll be charged the prorated difference immediately

Adding the Personalization add-on

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Find the Add-ons section
  3. Click Add Personalization
  4. Confirm the additional charge
  5. Personalization features will be enabled immediately

Payment methods

Updating your card

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Find the Payment Method section
  3. Click Update
  4. Enter your new card details
  5. Click Save

Accepted payment methods

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express

Invoices

Viewing invoices

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Scroll to the Invoice History section
  3. Click on any invoice to view details

Downloading invoices

  1. Find the invoice in the list
  2. Click the download icon
  3. The invoice will download as a PDF

Cancellation

Canceling your subscription

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click Cancel Subscription
  3. Select a reason for cancellation
  4. Confirm the cancellation
Canceling your subscription will disable access at the end of your current billing period. Student data will be retained for 30 days.

Reactivating after cancellation

If you cancel and want to reactivate:
  1. Log in to the admin panel
  2. Go to Billing
  3. Click Reactivate Subscription
  4. Choose your plan
  5. Enter payment details
