Reading Steps supports integration with external systems through the Integrations page in the admin panel.

Google Sheets

Import student and class data from Google Sheets for easy bulk management.

Setting up Google Sheets integration

  1. Go to Integrations in the admin panel
  2. Enable the Google Sheets integration
  3. Click Connect Google Account
  4. Authorize Reading Steps to access your sheets
  5. Select a spreadsheet to import from

Spreadsheet format

Your Google Sheet must follow this format for successful import: Students sheet:

Syncing data

After initial setup:
  1. Go to Integrations > Google Sheets
  2. Click Sync Now to pull latest data
  3. Review changes before confirming import
  4. New students are added, existing students are updated
Syncing does not delete students. If a student is removed from your sheet, they remain in Reading Steps until manually archived.

Direct integration with ESS SIMS for automatic student synchronization.

Integration with Wonde for MIS data synchronization.

Setting up Wonde

  1. Contact your Wonde representative to enable Reading Steps
  2. Go to Integrations in the admin panel
  3. Click Connect Wonde
  4. Authorize the connection in the Wonde portal
  5. Select which data to sync
