# Quick Start Guide

Get started with ReadingSteps in under 5 minutes with this quick start guide.

## Step 1: Create an Account

Visit [readingsteps.uk](https://readingsteps.uk) and click the "Get Started" button. You can sign up using:

* Email and password
* Google account
* Apple account (iOS only)

## Step 2: Set Up Your Profile

After creating your account, you'll be asked to:

1. **Select your reading level** - Choose from beginner, intermediate, or advanced
2. **Pick your interests** - Select genres you enjoy (fiction, non-fiction, science, history, etc.)
3. **Set your goals** - Define how much you want to read each day or week

## Step 3: Start Reading

Once your profile is set up, you'll receive personalized book recommendations. Click on any book to:

* Read a sample
* Add to your reading list
* Start tracking your progress

## Step 4: Track Your Progress

As you read, ReadingSteps automatically tracks:

* Pages read
* Time spent reading
* Vocabulary learned
* Comprehension scores

View your progress in the dashboard to see your improvement over time.
