# Installation

# Installation

ReadingSteps is available on multiple platforms. Choose the one that works best for you.

## Web Application

No installation required! Simply visit [readingsteps.uk](https://readingsteps.uk) and start reading in your browser.

## Mobile Apps

### iOS

1. Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad
2. Search for "ReadingSteps"
3. Tap "Get" to download and install
4. Open the app and sign in or create an account

### Android

1. Open Google Play Store on your Android device
2. Search for "ReadingSteps"
3. Tap "Install" to download and install
4. Open the app and sign in or create an account

## System Requirements

### Web

* Modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
* Stable internet connection
* JavaScript enabled

### iOS

* iOS 14.0 or later
* iPhone 6s or newer
* iPad Pro (2nd generation) or newer

### Android

* Android 8.0 (Oreo) or later
* 2GB RAM minimum
* Stable internet connection

## Desktop Application (Coming Soon)

We're working on native desktop applications for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Stay tuned for updates!

## Troubleshooting

### Installation Issues

If you encounter problems installing the mobile app:

* Ensure your device meets the minimum requirements
* Check that you have sufficient storage space
* Try restarting your device and installing again
* Clear the app store cache and retry

### Login Issues

If you can't log in after installation:

* Verify your internet connection
* Check that you're using the correct credentials
* Try resetting your password if needed
* Contact support if the issue persists
